About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and experienced administrator to join our small team.
If you work best in a fast-paced environment where change is constant, then this could be the ideal role for you.
In this role you will provide efficient administration whilst working in the outpatient department, you will be required to cover all types of administrative work, including co-ordination and surgical booking lists, to meet Health New Zealand and Elective Service requirements.You will support Planned Services receptions to ensure delivery of service can be maintained when members of the wider team are on leave.
An understanding of outpatient and surgical booking lists, and of WebPAS, is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. Preference will be given to applicants with previous booking experience.
This is a permanent part time position working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), this position will work across Monday - Friday, days and hours of work will be discussed with successful applicant.
About you
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a front-line or administrative role, including accurate word processing skills.
- Strong organisation skills, the ability to prioritize and a high level of accuracy.
- Previous Bookings experience in health-related groups is essential.
- High level communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of health professionals and patients.
