About the Role
We are looking for a Registered Electrician to join the Wairarapa Hospital Maintenance Team, the successful applicant will provide quality electrical and maintenance services to the Wairarapa Hospital and provide advice to other members of the team. You will have the ability to install and maintain electrical supply and distribution systems and provide an electrical and technical equipment support and repair service.
We require an electrician that is a proven problem solver, pragmatic, and methodical. You will enjoy both working alone and in a small team environment on a diverse range of electrical systems and electrical equipment.
This role requires registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board, and a current practicing certificate. You will also need to hold a current clean driver's license.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call roster, this is a 1 in 2 roster.

The Wairarapa Maintenance Team is a small but committed service that provides various maintenance services to Wairarapa Hospital and our other sites. Our service trades include Engineers, Electricians and Carpentry along with Administration support and in-home equipment for the community.

About you
- You will be a Registered Electrician
- Trades Certificate Electrical
- Knowledge of trades essential to maintenance services such as mechanical, building, electronics.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Current clean drivers licence
