About the Role

As an RN with Special Interest - Respiratory, you will work closely with the Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide specialised nursing services within the community setting. Care is provided for people managing respiratory conditions within an integrated model of care working alongside primary care, hospital-based services, specialist services and other health care providers.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Respiratory Nursing Service is delivered as a community-based service as part of the overall Community Nursing Services team.

Our specialised nursing teams work alongside our district nurses and home support services to provide holistic and integrated nursing care across a broad spectrum of people within the Wairarapa community.

Based in Masterton, we provide support to people across the Wairarapa region.

About you

As an experienced Registered Nurse you will:

  • Have previous experience working within community and/or respiratory nursing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience.
  • Ideally have achieved or be engaged in postgraduate / professional development relevant to the role.
  • Be committed to working towards expert practice and progression as a specialised respiratory nurse.
