About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity in a friendly and dynamic team, with a wonderful lifestyle in a semi-rural setting yet having the city lights of Wellington in proximity,? Well this may well be the role for you!

We are seeking a Dental/Oral Health Therapist to join the high-performing Oral Health Service at Wairarapa Hospital, providing essential care to children aged 0-13 years.

This role supports a strong work-life balance, operating during school terms only with paid leave over school holidays. You'll work 1:1 with a Dental Assistant in a well-supported working environment, within multi-chair clinics. You'll also be part of a diverse, multicultural team that values collaboration and a supportive approach to care.

The role is 14.16 hours per fortnight (0.2 FTE). To be eligible to apply, you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold resident or permanent visa status.

About you

A highly motivated registered Dental/Oral Health Therapist who enjoys working with children and their whanau while contributing to a team environment and reducing oral health inequalities across our community. You have a current full driver's license. Experience is preferred but not essential.

  • Certificate of Dental therapy - Bachelor of Oral Health
  • Current annual practising certificate with New Zealand Dental Council
