About the Role
We have fantastic opportunities available for Registered Nurses to join our supportive, professional team here at Selina Sutherland Private Hospital.
We will consider applications from Enrolled Nurses, Position Description is available on request.
This role provides elective surgical inpatient care and support services in our consulting rooms and outpatient clinics.
We have several fixed term part time positions available, please indicate your hours preference in you cover letter. These roles are rostered & rotating and involve work across our inpatient and outpatient services.
The Selina Sutherland Hospital has a compulsory closure during the Christmas period; this is for a duration of up to 2 weeks. This will be further discussed at interview.
About the Service/ Location
Selina Sutherland Hospital (SSH) is a 10 Bed Private Surgical Hospital & Consulting Clinic which is co-located on the Te Whatu- Ora Wairarapa Campus. Selina Sutherland Private Hospital provides Orthopaedic, Gynaecology Ophthalmology (Cataract) Surgery and Consultation as well as Endoscopy Services.
Additionally, we have regular outpatient clinics providing clinics for Urology, Nephrology, Vasectomy and Gastroenterology. We are currently building a new independent hospital facility which is due to open in early 2028 and will provide further opportunities in a range of roles and specialty services.

About you
- Registration with Te Kaunihera Tapuhi o Aotearoa - Nursing Council of New Zealand
- A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and scope appropriate to area of work
- Surgical Nursing experience
