About the role

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team working in perioperative services.
You will be required to work across DPU, PACU & Theatre.
These are casual positions working 0 - 80 hours per fortnight, as and when required. Applicants must be available at short notice to cover any shift, including weekends and nights. To be eligible to apply for these casual positions you must be a New Zealand citizen or have resident or permanent work visa status.
About you
You must have a minimum of one years' post grad experience in an acute clinical setting and can work confidently without supervision. We are looking for staff with acute care experience, especially critical care skills.
You will have a current Annual Practising Certificate and preferably have recent theatre/recovery experience and can work confidently without supervision.
- NZ Registered General and Obstetric or Comprehensive Nurse.
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Demonstrated experience and skills in Perioperative nursing.
- Ability to work co-operatively and collaboratively with other disciplines.
- Proven communication skills for patient care and teamwork.
- A vision for professional and clinical nursing practice.
- Ability to continuously improve work practices
